we had problems with our refridge not staying cool and the freezer seemed to be too cold. i replaced the magnetic door seals and they don’t seal properly. they were folded in the shipping box and there are a few “kinks”. is there a trick to flattening them out or will they adjust over time? i can feel cool air coming from both compartments and the magnetic contact is awfully weak. any ideas?
[SIZE=3][COLOR=#000000][FONT=Times New Roman]They will kinda adjust over time but you have to get them close. The trick is to completely submerge the gasket in hot water before you install it. Then use a hair dryer to shape the gasket after it is on. Once you get it sealing properly rub a thin film of Vaseline along the entire gasket. Hope this helps!
