Keep getting this F3 error code then none of the oven controls will work. The other day I unplugged it then I was able to bake, when I turned it off it started to beep and go to the code and lock up again. So far have not been able to get it back on. Does anyone know what the code is telling me to replace? The book says to call service.
F3 stands for a faulty oven sensor. Unplug the oven, then replace the sensor. Should be back to normal. The sensor is inside the oven. When you pull on the sensor, you’ll get to a male/female quick connector. When you unplug it, be careful not to lose the other end behind the oven wall or this simple repair won’t be so simple anymore.

Our oven came on and heated by itself (broiler element). We could not turn it off short of flipping the circuit breaker.
I had a similar code e2 F3. Our local appliance store told us we needed the heat sensor. We paid the $95 and it didn’t do the trick. Of course they would not take the part back. Then the code read e0 F3. The local store said we needed a new control panel ($400+). But they no longer make this part and they said I would have to get a new oven. I made one last effort (before buying a new oven/range) and inspected the rear of the oven after pulling it away from the countertop. I noticed wire to the brioler element was disconnected (i.e., burned off). The tip of the element was damaged beyond repair so I order a new one ($30). After an easy install my oven has now been working fine for about 2 week (no problems).
I don’t know if it was the combination of the sensor and the element or just the element. But definitely inspect all the parts before investing in expensive other parts.
