F14 error code Whirlpool Duet Washer

Ok - The digital display and all lights are blinking on my Duet washer. Sometime I will get an F14 error code and after playing with the buttons it would stop blinking and start working. But now it just continuously blink. If I turn the dial or press the buttons the lights and wash time will change to my selection, but the display is still blinking. At one point the circuit board was making a clicking sound, but that has stopped now. I’m suspecting it is the circuit board, but I trust you guys judgement and suggestions better than mine.

Well I don’t even trust my judgment, so I am not sure why you should. Anyway here is the explanation of that code

EEPROM Error
The Central Control Unit (CCU) receives it’s data from an EEPROM onboard the CCU. If there is an error reading this data it will cause this error.

see if that fixes the error.

• Check CCU.

As you can see Whirlpool says check the CCU which you can do by finding the tech notes under the top of the machine.

If you cannot find anything wrong go ahead and replace the CCU. If you buy from this site and the part does not fix the problem you can return it.

Good luck, which is what you need with Duets

Ok I have whirlpool duet and getting code f11 checked all pins and adjusted accordingly and now I am receiving and f6 and f14 error code. Already replaced the ccu. When I am in drain and spin time pops up I hit start. It works for about 1 minute and then numbers will start blinking and a few minutes later it will kick back on for a few seconds. It will do this several times befo re w it starts flashing error code f6. Checked tachometer and reading 120 ohms of resistence. Please help!!!

I thought I needed a new CCU due to intermittent F14 errors… until I checked the power plug. We live near a train track and I think the vibration slowly over time loosened the plug. I spread the plug blades slightly and pushed it back in the wall socket. It’s been 3 weeks and no F14 error.
