F10 error message random beeping

Hello,

So I have a couple of issues but they both relate to the F10 error beeping.

1.) The F10 error message randomly beeps on my stove and I usually stop it by turning on one of the burners for a few min(maybe 10 or 20, which is pretty much the equivalent of putting a band-aid on a wound, not stopping the bleeding.) This started around year 2, but it would only happen on extremely rare occasions( kinda when the seasons change) Now year 5-6 its happening more frequently(late at night, when I’m not home, when I’m at home…) still I’m able to “resolve” the issue by turning on a burner.

2.) Now when turning on the oven to lets say 450, it will beep if though it has achieved that temp in 30 secs, which not only did it not achieve that temp. the coils in the inside hadn’t turned red yet to let me know that its on. I’ve been able to “force” the oven coils on by turning on a burner up top and the oven coil lights up to the desire temp. and I’m able to bake with a problem. It’s turns off perfectly. All four burners work perfectly, the clock, timer as well. Very strange indeed.

Help, please.

Thanx

The “F10” error code means the control senses the runaway temperature. If it happens while the oven is off, then the problem is a bad control board. It’s recommended to order the overlay together with the new control board because the overlay is self adhesive.
