Exhaust Fan runs continuoulsy -will not shut off

Thanks in advance for any/all input or assistance!

Problem:

  1. Exhaust fan runs continuously when neither the oven/range are in use.
  2. Electric element control digital display for 1 burner shows HE (Hot Element) however the burner is not in use.

I believe the HE reading for a cold element is causing the fan to run.

Question: How to troubleshoot the HE reading of the display?

I cannot find any info on the given model number.
Please check it.

Without a model and wiring diagram I cannot tell how the fan is controlled.
