Ewave over the range microwave shutting off

:confused: Hi I have a Ewave over the range microwave that I recently re-installed and is now shutting off when running as a microwave. I did some construction in my kitchen and had to take the microwave down. Since that time each time I run the microwave I smell something burning and it seems to over heat and power down. All the lights and everything turn off and takes about 5/10min to turn back on. When I run the vent/fan and light on it can go for hours with no problem. When running the microwave it shuts down in 3/5 min. I have to assume its something blocked or clogged but I really have no idea where to start. Can anyone make some recommendations on what I can/should check.

Ewave shuts off after a minute and half-power comes back on after about ten minutes but fan and light can stay on forevever -also defrosts with no problem -Can anyone help-Thanks

Your magnetron thermostat is cutting out on thermal overload. I would check the cooling fan near the magnetron, might be blocked.
