For model MVWC565FW0, the first question I always ask—especially when support rods are involved—is whether OEM parts were used. Most aftermarket suspension rods don’t hold up well and can cause the same symptoms.
Can you confirm the part number of the rods that were installed? Also, did you replace both the upper and lower rod bearings, and make sure all four rods were fully seated and properly aligned in their mounting locations? Is the transmission shaft loose?
When you remove the inner spin basket, pay close attention to the condition of the drive hub and hub retainer. Also inspect the balance ring at the top of the basket. If the balance ring has failed and leaked out its fluid, the washer can develop severe vibration and shaking during the spin cycle.
For the sprocket nut backing off I recommend a blue thread locker compound
I checked the tub. It seems like everything is replaced and accurate. I should have just bought a used $200 washer rather than spend $350 to not fix it
Dhome19, Did you check the 4 legs that support the washer? I have similar problem with my Kenmore top load series 80 and I think I have to fix the rear 2 legs and adjust their elevation.
Sadly I brought it to a repair guy and he said that the bear at the tub was shot. He initially thought that he could rebuild the rods and that was the problem but then he showed me how bad the play in the tub was.
