I looked at my old fan motor and it looked like it has several hot wire (red) and several ground (white) wires coming from it, the replacement motor that I received only has 1 of each + the common ground, is this right?

If this is the part you ordered and received, correct, it only has 2 wiring terminals, a harness and a new ground wire, and an instruction sheet, to re wire the new motor.
