The dryer will get hot for approximately 10 minute and then cools off. Small, light loads will dry; most will not. The fuse was replaced about 5 yrs ago.
BrianMichael,
Most likely the problem is a bad gas valve coils. You also may want to clean the dryer vent line all the way through the vent outlet. While you’ll take the dryer apart for the repair it is a good time to clean the dryer inside too.

Gene -thanks for the advice on the gas coils. How do I access the coils?
Thanks
BrianMichael
Remove the two screws under the lint screen lid.
Using a putty knife, release the front lock clip on each side of the top front panel edge.
Raise the top and prop it against the wall behind the unit.
Remove the two screws securing the front panel. Lift the front panel up to release it from the retainers on the bottom.
The gas valve is under the drum on the left side. You probably would not need to remove the drum to access the coils.

Gene - thanks - got the cabinet open and removed the coils - now I just have to order them or find a place to pick them up.
Thanks again
