Element Haliant 12 Triple won't heat

Brand:GE
Model Number:PS960SL5SS
Main Symptom:Triple burner no heat on any section
What happens & when:just doesn’t heat, but becomes slightly warm to touch

Error Code (if any):no error code
Parts or tests already tried:Removed burner, did continuity tests on each of 3 heating coils. All fine. No breaks in heating elements. The red light indicating warm surface stays on continually. Stove surface is warm, but not too hot to touch. Could it be the thermostat? A switch?

If you are sure the element is good, the infinite switch would be the issue. I would still be concerned about the element. The hot surface indicator light is controlled by the element, not the switch. You still could have a bad element.

What replacement parts do you recommend?

I’m not familiar with ‘infinity switch’. Is that part of the burner assembly?

Sorry, got a little ahead of myself there. This model does not use infinite switches. This model uses the control panel AP6997626 and the cooktop control board AP6286249. From the information here and in your other post on this one, you’re looking at the cooktop control board.
