my refrigerator started having the alarm go off last week then error on screen and after unplugging and plunging it back in it would reset for a couple hours and the alarm and error again. it did this for 2 days and then would not reset and there was a clicking noise ( relay clicking on and off and the fan and compressor start on and off each time the click happens)from the main board under the frig.
ordered a user interface kit elextrolux p/n # 5303918584
and a compressor run capacitor electrolux p/n # 5304464438 , replaced parts ( used the patch wire kit as directed on main board ) and now the fig turns on about 2-3 second after it is plunged in then display lights up, then about 8 seconds later the
ERROR SY CF on the screen, fig will not run.
Please help

This error code means “Communication failure after power up”. Check the wiring and connections between the user interface board (dispenser) and the main control board. If there is nothing wrong then one of the two parts in the kit you purchased is defective.
