Brand: Electrolux Model Number: EI33AR80WS2 Main Symptom: Beeps when door immediately opened. Goes off when closed. Recently replaced part 5304536819 after similar beeping led to display panel stopped working followed by months later interior led lights stopped working. New board fixed those issues and all was working again, but now beeping again. Is the new board the issue again? What happens & when: see above

Thanks for the detailed description. Since replacing 5304536819 restored the display and interior lights, but the unit is now immediately beeping again whenever the door is opened, I wouldn’t assume the new control board has already failed.
The beeping is more likely caused by the control thinking there is a problem when the door is opened. Here are the things I’d check first:
Test the door switch. Even if the interior lights come on, the switch may have multiple internal contacts, and one can fail while the other still works. With the unit unplugged, test the switch for continuity while pressing and releasing the plunger. If you’re comfortable using a multimeter, I can provide the expected readings.
Inspect the door switch wiring. Look for loose connectors, damaged wires, or corrosion where the harness connects to the switch and where it enters the cabinet. A partially broken wire can make intermittent contact as the door moves.
Check the door alignment. Make sure the door is fully depressing the switch when closed. A sagging door or worn hinge can cause the switch to operate erratically.
Look for stored error codes (if your model supports them). The control may have logged a fault that points to the source of the beeping.
If the door switch and wiring both test good, then I’d begin to suspect the replacement control board or, less commonly, a communication issue between the user interface and the main control. While it’s possible the replacement board is defective, it’s not the first thing I’d replace without verifying the switch circuit.
A couple of questions that will help narrow it down:
Does the display show any error code while it’s beeping?
Do the interior lights come on normally every time the door is opened?
Is it a single beep, or does it continue beeping until the door is closed?
Was the replacement board an OEM Frigidaire/Electrolux part or an aftermarket replacement?
If you’re comfortable using a multimeter, I can also walk you through testing the door switch and the voltage at the control board to determine whether the problem is in the switch circuit or the control itself.
Where is door switch on this model or wires to door? There’s no plunger like normal. No wiring in top hinge. Door is aligned. No error codes. Lighting works well. It’s a single beep. The replacement board is from you so OEM.
Doesn’t appear to be right switch. It’s too big for the little compartment. Don’t see option to add a picture, but compartment is 2” W part recommended is 3” W. Is it possible it is installed by taking down the LED light in ceiling? I don’t see how else this would go in unless it’s not the right part.
On the Electrolux EI33AR80WS2, part 5304527992 is the reed switch wire harness (magnetic door switch). It replaces older part numbers 242326001 and 5304519094.
Tools Needed
Phillips screwdriver
Plastic putty knife or trim tool
Needle-nose pliers (optional)
Flashlight
Installation
Disconnect power
Unplug the refrigerator or turn off the breaker.
Locate the reed switch
The reed switch is embedded in the cabinet wall, not in the door or top hinge.
It sits behind the trim on the hinge side of the fresh food compartment where the door magnet passes when closed.
Remove the trim
Carefully pry off the interior trim or cover using a plastic trim tool.
Work slowly to avoid damaging the liner.
Remove the old switch
Pull the reed switch and harness out of the opening.
Disconnect the wiring connector from the cabinet harness.
Install the new harness
Connect the new harness to the cabinet connector.
Tuck the wiring back into the opening exactly as the original was routed.
Press the reed switch fully into its mounting pocket until it seats securely.
Reinstall the trim
Snap the trim back into place.
Restore power
Plug the refrigerator back in.
Test the Repair
Open and close the door several times and verify:
Interior lights turn off immediately when the door closes.
The door open alarm no longer sounds.
The display no longer indicates the door is open.
Cooling resumes normally if it was interrupted by the faulty switch.
If you’re having trouble locating the switch, it is not visible until the interior trim is removed. It’s mounted flush in the cabinet wall and detects the magnet inside the door rather than using a traditional plunger switch.
Can you unplug and remove just the reed switch from your fridge and then take the reed switch out of the bow on the new part and install it where the old reed switch was?
