Error code 04 dryer damper on touchpad after start attempt , dishwasher fills with water then pumps water out alarm goes off with code 04. if the LCD lights behind the kick plate indicate dryer damper does that point to a specific part or should I first replace control board?
Code clears when cancelled returns when start attempted
Nothing made simple in our live and Frigidaire just prove it. The error code says that drying damper is bad. Well, you can look up the parts list forever because there are no such part name listed there. Guess what? The part we are looking for named as “Upper Vent assembly”. 
This is the part you should replace first. The instructions are attached to the post.
