Brand: Electrolux Model Number: ELFE7637BWO Main Symptom: Noise What happens & when: Started with less but now intermittent and loud.
I completely disassembled and replaced the belt. The rear panel seemed loose which holds drum rollers. Tightened and lubed the rollers, tensioner, and motor. Couldn’t find sounds from any location. Blower is free of lint.
Based on the video, it would be difficult to determine exactly what is going on but would recommend checking the blower wheel to see if there is damage to it. If that is not the issue, double-check to make sure that there are no loose screws or bolts.
Blower wheel was in perfect shape and clean. When I reassembled, I actually got more screws installed and tightened than before. Felt guides were good. Hard to tell if drum contacts the sides of top. The tensioner doesn’t provide A lot of wrap of the motor and is “soft” in my opinion
