E6 F2 error

double oven beeps and display shows E6 F2 beeps later and display comes on again. Sometimes can use oven before it beeps and cuts off.
Some say replace key pad and others talk about control panel and control board. How do you figure out which one.

I believe you mean an F2 E6 code on the dispaly of your wall oven.
In most cases this is indicating that the control board is seeing no circuit on the cancel key of the touchpad.

There is no easy way to test for this complaint, except to disconnect the touchpad ribbon from the control bord, and in most cases you will get another failure code when you apply power back to the wall oven.

I’m pretty sure(90 %) all you will need is the control panel assembly
(see attached)

Thank you for your information. Does instructions come with the assembly for installation?

No there are no instructions supplied.

It is a somewhat easy repair:

Turn off power to unit at breaker.

Remove panel mounting screws( one on each side of panel near bottom).

lift up on panel (1/2 - 3/4 inch) to un clip panel from frame at top.

Remove ribbon connector from range control board and remove board.

Reverse procedure to install parts and panel .

restore power to the unit and test.
