E2 F3 error after replacing temp sensor

Recently got an error of E2 F3 along with oven temp spiking way beyond the selected temp.

Ordered and replaced the oven temp sensor.

On first test after sensor replacement got same error and high spiking temp.

When I had the back off while replacing the sensor I looked at the back of the control panel and saw no burned wires or other obvious outward signs of damage.

  1. What else can I troubleshoot?

  2. Was there some sort of control panel ‘reset’ I should have done after replacing the sensor? I did have the power off (breaker) to the stove during the work.

Thanks,

Ken

Hi.

Check the resistance of the temp. sensor at the control board plug. Should be about 1100ohm at room temp.

If the resistance reading is OK - replace the control board
