dish washer inoperative. Rinse only & cancel lights flashing. Cleaned control board connectors & washer operated normally for 1 cycle then reverted back to flashing lights.

Error points toward multiple keys being shorted.
Could be the control board or the control panel (keyboard)
The usual way to trouble shoot is to remove power from the unit. Disconnect the keypad and check it with a meter (see the tech sheet). All keys sghould be open when nothing is pressed and only one key should close when the key is pressed. If it checks out OK then replace the control board. Still a bit of a crap shoot but your odds are better. Note: Since the keyboard has diodes on it meter polarity does matter.
