I also have a Whirlpool that the soap dispenser is not opening when it is supposed to. However, WHen I took the front door panel off I found Draw bar for upper dispenser, draw bar for lower dispenser, spring draw and drip cver plate were all just laying in there not conected to anything. By the way the spring was only about 1/4 inch long. I did get everything back to gether but could not find place for spring hook up and the cover plate will not open. Any suggestions? Would it be best to replace it all? If so what is part numbers and where else does that spring hook to besides lower draw bar?
