Dryer will not start

Yesterday, I just used the dryer to dry a load of clothes and it worked fine. On the second load, it would not turn on at all. I tried different cyles, but still no luck. I did get the drum to turn once on the wrinkle shield cycle but it has not done anything since then. I have not checked the continuity on any switches or fuses. I would like to know in which direction to start. Thanks!

First place to check is the power source. You should see 240 VAC between the two hot lines; and 120VAC between each hot lline and the ground. If the outlet is good, check the connections at the back of the dryer.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll check that. I did check the thermal fuse and thermostats in the back of the dryer for continuity. Everything tested fine except for the cycling thermostat on the blower housing below the thermal fuse. The two outer posts had continuity, but the two inner posts had resistance. Does this mean that it is bad and if so will that keep the dryer from working at all? Thanks for the help!

That is a normal reading. The two inner posts are contacts for the internal heater that helps regulate the thermostat in the various heat level selections for your timed dry cycles.
