See the attachment for the wiring diagram.
I am assuming that you have 120 volts on L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral.
Note that the red wire at the motor is for L2 and does not effect starting. It is just for the heating coil.
Unplug the unit and set your timer to mid scale of timed dry, door switch closed.
Attach one meter lead to L1 either at the timer or even better at the line cord plug. Now work your way back through the motor start circuit.
Use the most sensitive scale on your meter. Also short the meter leads together before starting so you can see if there is a zero offset.
L1 to timer C (black wire) should be 0 ohms
To timer B (light blue wire) should be 0 ohms.
To both sides of the thermal fuse, should be 0 ohms.
To 4M on the motor should be 0 ohms.
To 5M on the motor should be about 1.5 ohms.
To white or white/red wire on the push to start switch, should be ~1.5 ohms.
To black or light blue wire on the push to start switch when activated should be ~1.5 ohms.
With push to start switch activated you should get ~1.5 ohms at both sides of the door switch and Neutral.
