Dryer taking too long to dry

Dryer is taking extremely long to dry. It is heating up. Lint hose has been checked.

Check your thermostat.

You can try the dryer with the vent hose unplugged (I wouldn’t try this if the dryer is inside the house). If the dryer begins to function properly, then something’s wrong with the vent.
