dryer shuts turns off after 15 to 20 minutes. then must hit start button again

Could be something as simple as your door not lathing properly or perhaps the switch is just closing so any decent tap on it will open the switch.
Could also be a loose connection in the motor circuit.
Also a possibility that the timer switch 2 contacts are at fault.
See the attachment for the wiring diagram, it should help trying to find the problem. It is for a XSW1 but should be very close if not the same as your unit.
