Dryer occasionally makes thumping noise

It sounds like you may have a bad drum roller. A worn or damaged roller can cause squealing, thumping, or scraping noises while the dryer is running

Hi,

No worries! Have you checked the drum glides or felt seal around the drum to make sure they aren’t worn out? Also, inspect the dryer drum support shaft for wear or damage. Any of these parts can cause the symptoms you’re experiencing if they’ve worn out.
