There isn’t many places to connect the idler pulley spring to the base of the dryer, but for the life of me, cannot locate it. Anyone lend a hand w/knowledge or pics for this MINOR problem. Sounds like I’m dumb, but believe it, I’m not.
Look for any thing within range of the stretched spring and look for a worn or shinny place there it could have been hooked. It could be a hole or a notch.
There are two “slots” at the bottom of the dryer base, 1 each left and right. The correct position for the idler pulley is to the LEFT facing it. Just a little strain to get the curly kew spring end into this slot, but feel correct placement has been achieved. Parts ordered here Friday due to arrive tomorrow and will, hopefully, get the belt installed and heat flowing. Thanks!
