Does a flame sensor have a normally closed or normally open position when bench tested for continuity?
When cool and calm that sensor should have continuity. When heated to 1800 degrees F that puppy should shut down and allow all that shocktricity to empower them coils:
Thank you Sublimemasterjw. I have opted to order a flame sensor and an igniter. I was told that the igniter has about a 5 year life( dryer is 6yrs old). And I thought I would replace the flame sensor to remove it from the senairio. Thanks for the electrical advice. As an Electrician I not only understood it, but also enjoyed it. thanks again…dg
