Dryer timer buzzer won’t stop unless door was opened or turned to new dry cycle. Replaced the timer but same issue, buzzer won’t stop. What next?
Sounds like the buzzer is the culprit.

Turns out it was the Start push button switch. Dryer would start as soon as you turned the timer to a new cycle. Contacts were stuck, so cleaned them up and that did the trick. Will need to get a new one in the near future.
I’m glad you were able to diagnose and fix the problem. Good job!
Thank you for the feed back.

I have the same problem with my Kenmore.
I need to know what contacts he is talking about?
Hes talking about the contacts inside the start switch being ‘welded’ together. I’ve seen it happen a couple of times.
