I’m not sure how old it is. How do you gain access to replace the heating element? I took off the front panel but the heating element is in the back and seems impossible to get to from the front. It appears there is absolutely no way to gain access from the back of the dryer unless I literally took the entire thing apart! How do I gain access to replace my heating element? Thanks!

Not sure why the heating element needs replacing but if it is just because there is no heat be aware that a number of other devices can cause this (thermal fuse, thermostat etc.)
it is very simple to get to the heating element. unplug the dryer, and take the 2 screws that hold on the bottom panel of the front. then, lay down on your stomach and look all the way on the back on the the left side, and that is where the element housing is. you will see a 5/16th of a inch screw on the right and left side of the housing, about 5 inches from the base. remove them, and then pull down on the whole housing, and bring it out. actually the wiring is long enough for you to bring it to the front of the dryer, and check the element and the thermostat, and the thermal fuse. if you have a bad element, i would recommend you buy the kit that has the element, and the thermostat and the thermal fuse that all come with it. that way it is all done. tom
