My GE Profile refrigerator occasionally drips after I’ve filled a cup of water. It’s a slow drip, but in time will overflow the water collection tray and make a mess. I want to fix it before it becomes worst.
I need to know what part(s) I will need to replace. Your assistance on this would be appreciated.

DC,
First things first,
Have you replaced the water filter in the refrigerator compartment, recently ?
Dirty or clogged filters, reduce the water pressure on the system, and can cause the dispenser to drip. That should be your first check,(if you still have it, the bypass plug could be installed, as well).
Check all the connections on the water tubing, make sure they are all tight(hand tight and 1/4 turn more).
I do change the filter frequently and currently the water stream is strong, which I presume means that there is no clogging. I have not pulled the fridge out yet as it sits tightly between the kitchen woodwork so I have not had a chance to inspect the tubing in the rear. What’s the best way to pull it out so it come out straight? Pull by the doors?
Did you drain 2 to 3 gallons of water through the water dispenser after you replaced the water filter? Even a small amount of air in the system can cause such dripping.
