Drain pump wires violet vs. white

I have a Frigidaire (made by Electrolux) that has a defective drain pump. Can anybody tell me where the violet vs. the white wire go? There are no load vs. neutral designation on the pump and I want to make sure that the wires go in the right place in case whoever mucked with the appliance the last time put the wires in the wrong spot.

Below is a link and a jpeg to and of the picture of the pump that I am going to purchase to replace the broken pump. Using the perspective of the picture (which shows the pump upside down), the leads are located in the lower left corner of the picture. In this picture, the violet lead is presently on the farside while the white lead is on the nearside (furthest away and closest to the viewer, respectively) .

I hope that makes sense. I’d appreciate if anybody can let me know if the leads are presently installed correctly or do I need to worry about a fire when I plug in the new pump.

The pump is AC so it does not matter which wire goes where.

Denman,
much appreciated. That makes things easy, I just leave them as they are. I was just worried about a fire if the load is plugged in where it does not belong. Obviously, I am not an electrician :>
