Drain out water problems

Model WM3488HW has error OE - We cleared the drain pipes and only found a metal 1/2" square piece and still getting the OE error. We replaced the panel board and still getting the OE error. The water is not draining out after it washes and not getting to the rinse cycle.

I assume you used the clean out located on the front of the pump assembly? If it is leaving water standing in the bottom of the tub after it is finished washing, there is a restriction or a bad impeller on the pump. The impeller on the shaft should not spin independently of the metal shaft, if it does, it is stripped out and the pump needs to be replaced.

Hi DavidP - Yes your assumption is correct that we cleaned out the pump assembly at the bottom located in the front. I think we should replaced the pump. What is the part number for this?

Thank you DavidP for providing the part number. Unfortunately I always have checkout problems with your site when using my credit card. Very annoying. I am from outside the US. I will have to get a local company here order it for me through there sources.
