Door Won't Latch And Begin Cycle

The dishwasher door won’t always latch closed causing cycle not to begin. Sometimes repeated closing of door by pushing around and near control buttons will latch door and engage wash cycle. I sense this may be a door switch issue but not sure how to access…from inside or outside of door panel??

You have to check the door latch and how it’s engaged by the hook. You have to remove the inner door panel by removing the screws around the panel to access the door latch.
