D/W door opened too far and obviously needed one or both springs replaced. Ordered springs & links, but found hinges weren’t designed for links, had only small rivet-like protrusion on which to hook the spring. Can’t see anything missing or broken that lets the door open too far; what am I overlooking?
Thanks for your help!

Perhaps they are deformed.
Pull the dishwasher forward a foot or so and try the door it should be fairly obvious as to what stops it in the open position.
What is obvious is that the door opens until the hinge hits the frame, and that happens when the door is below horizontal. I can’t see any problem with the hinges, they aren’t split or bent that is visible. Is there something else the hinge should rest against when the door is opened? I appreciate your help!
I do not know of anything else that holds the door level.
Did you check that the dishwasher itsel is still level and not pulled up at the back.
Perhaps you could jiggery pokery a fix by adding something to the frame.
I am thinking of the self stick rubber feet that are available at Home depot etc.
Some of them are about half an inch thick.
Although I was hoping for the satisfaction of finding something defective and replacing it, stick-on rubber feet sounds like the perfect way to make it behave better. Thanks for your input!
