If the unit does nothing after locking then the first thing to do is check to see if there is 120 Bac getting to the water valve. If there is 120 vac to the valve but no water flowing then this will be a faulty water valve that would need to be replaced.
Check the water valve with a multimeter for 120 VAC when the cycle starts. If voltage shows but no water runs, replace the valve. I’d also inspect the door lock wiring for a loose connection, since a bad latch can stop things cold.
