Door locks/Oven shuts off - Code F5E3

It seems that any time we set temp in oven above 350, when it reaches anything over 350 the door locks, oven shuts off and F5E3 code shows on panel. F5 says that power cord isn’t grounded properly but from what I can see it looks like it is. Any tests or typical causes?

By the sound of it you probably already have this manual but just in case here it is.

You have to join the site to download the manual but it is free and this is a very good site for manuals and other info for the appliance repair DIYer.

Did this unit used to run OK at this location or is it new to you or has it been moved?

All I can suggest is that you check that the connections at the terminal strip are clean and tight.
Also that it is wired correctly for a 3 wire or 4 wire hook up depending what you are using.
If 3 wire also check that the ground strap is properly connected to the unit’s frame.
If 4 wire make sure that it is not connected and that the ground from the line cord is connected to the unit’s frame. If the ground strap is still connected at the terminal strip tape up the other end to ensure it cannot touch the frame.
