Main Symptom:display dead
What happens & when:Display is dead. It could be the display but could also be wiring or mother board. I took off board still wired and it has a buzzing sound. Is this definitely the display or could the mother board not be supplying enough power? Lights work and fridge and freezer cool.

Test for 12 VDC going into the display board. If there is proper power then this will be a faulty display board. If there is not power then this will be a faulty main control board.
Thanks. I checked power out of J4 on control board black and red wires and get 13.5. Checked pins from red and white on display board and get 3.5. I then checked the connector off of board and get 13.5 volts so I guess the wiring is ok. Could something be shorting inside the connector to cause this?
Did you see my reply 5 days ago? Why would the display power connector give 13.5 volts not connected to the board but just 3.5 volts to the pins coming out of the connector when connected? Bad connector? Short?
This would be a problem within the board that is causing the display to be dead. You would want to replace the display board.
