I have a whirlpool portable dishwasher model #whirlpool model dp940pwpq2 and i’d like to know how to hard plumb it? Is there a kit available?

Yes there is a kit, see the last couple items in Section 7 of the parts. I cannot find out what exactly is included in the kit, perhaps the folks at AppliancePartsPros have a better parts breakdown.

I would think that the only differences between the kit colors would be any supplied trim pieces.
