I reviewed a thread on this site that suggested removing the lower spray arm to start the process of troubleshooting a leak under my machine. I cant loosen the spray arm. I am trying to turn it in a clockwise motion. Is that correct? Do you have a link that discribes reparing pump seals on this model?

Looks like a standard thread to me so you should be turning it counter clockwise.

I personally would troubleshoot a leak differently.
I would remove the kick plate and then using a flashlight and a small mirror locate it from the bottom. A good mirror is the type used by auto mechanics sort of like a dentist’s mirror only larger. This is not absolutely required, it depends on where the leak is. Also just taping a mirror to a stick works.

Be sure to look higher up from where it is dripping as the water will run down and where it drips in not where the actual leak is.

Thanks for your reply and info. I had previously done the troubleshooting proceedure you described and the water appears to be coming down through the connecting collar and then down through the motor. I believe I have to get the sprayarm out before any other disassembly can be attempted.
