I DROPPED A STONE IN THE DISHWASHER AND IT WENT THROUGH THE ROUND GRATE AT THE BOTTOM AND I CAN NOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO ACCESS IT. WHEN I TURN THE GREY KNOB (SCREW) ON TOP OF THE SPRAY ARM COUNTER CLOCKWISE IT TURNS BUT DOES NOT COME FREE. I CAN NOT GET IT OFF. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO GET THIS OFF SO I CAN RETRIEVE THE STONE. IN THE MEANTIME I CAN NOT USE THE DISHWASHER IN FEAR OF DAMAGING THE STONE. THANK YOU:rolleyes:
Hold the knob with a pair of pliers and spin the lower wash arm free. Then remove the tube running up the back of the tub by taking loose the screw in the center back and up on top. Slide the tube connector on top of the sump to the right as you are looking at it and you will find the last of four screws that need to be removed to get the top of the sump off.
