Dishwasher will not dry dishes

Is it like there has been no heat at all? Are the dishes soaked or does it seem like water dripping from the tub is on them? Are you using rinse-aid and are you running hot water at the nearest water source such as the kitchen sink before starting a cycle?

There is no heat at all obviously there is hot water coming from the faucet to fill the tub but when the dry cycle begins, it does not heat

Ok, that is most likely to be either the heater W10518394 or the turbidity sensor W11084121 connected to the side of the sump assembly.

The easiest way to test this is to run the diagnostic cycle. At the end of that cycle it should power on the heater. Once the cycle is done you can put your hand near the heater to see if it came on.

If it didn’t you can check it for continuity just to verify if it has failed.

If it did come on then the turbidity sensor is the most likely culprit. After the diagnostic cycle everything resets, so it may work correctly for the next 3 cycle since it uses those cycle to recalibrate the dishwasher.
