Here are your parts
Replacement parts for FDB1500LFS2 models | AppliancePartsPros.com
Here is a wiring diagram.
Note: It is for a LFS0 as I could not find one for a LFS2. It should be a close match.

And here is a manual although for a different unit the dispenser should be the same.

Could be the dispenser, the control board or a bad connection.
At the top of the list would be the dispenser.
Unplug the unit and remove the door’s inner panel.
Remove one wire from the wax motor on the dispenser and measure it with a meter.
They are usually around 2,000 ohms.
Denman, My son and I have taken the push nut off by bending it away from
the housing just enought to get some dikes behind it and cut it and twist
it off, we know that the teeth were faceing toward the housing The shaft
did pull out about a 3/8 of and inch and I think that it came free on the
inside but I pushed it back in and it does not spin. I did try to see if
it would rotate back and forth but it seemed to be stationary and not
rotate at all. I also messed up and didn’t take any pictures before we
disassembled the area to show us witch way the springs were attached. I
think that we have a shot at remembering but are there any pictures out
there that can be sent to us and do we have to replace the pump if the
shaft apears to be statioinary? I don’t think that it rotates at all but I
am not sure yet but it doesn’t spin by hand anyway. Is that good or bad?
We ordered the parts and put the machine back into the cabnet out of
moma’s way until the parts get to us and we can try again. I guess we will
find out then anyway, but still, if we can get some pictures and glean
some other information from you good folks it will help us.
Take care
Ken and Son
