i have a 14 yr old dishwasher KITCHENAID model # kuds230bo, it is not draining the water from the unit. I removed the drain line attached to the garbage disposal and used a vac shop, nothing happen.
Then i removed the dishwasher away from the cabinets and remove the drain line at the source and checked for food stocked in it and everything looks fine. Somebody said that I need to repair the pump impellet (WHATEVER THAT IS).
looking in your web I found the model # and the diagram however I do not know what to order.
I NEED SOME HELP

Pump not draining water can be a problem with the impeller but you will want to make sure the pump is running before you tear into it. If you hear it washing and trying to drain, then we are indeed dealing with a pump issue and not an electrical issue. The impeller (AP3115180) would be the part I would take a look at and it isn’t to difficult to replace once you get into the pump assembly. If you have the tools and the time, you should be able to get it fixed.

I Do Not Beleive I Am Dealing W/electrical Issues, I A M Going To Go With Your Suggestion Part , And If There Is Not Too Much Trouble Could Youn Get Me Through Installation

No problem. It’s just a matter of taking out some parts and laying them out in order so you can put it back together. Let us know when you have the part and are ready to go.

great thank you,
