Dishwasher not drying - high-limit/temp thermostat or heating element?

Everything else seems to be working fine but the dishes are not drying.
From what I’ve read, it may either be the high-limit/temp thermostat or the heating element.

Are the high-limit thermostat and high-temp thermostat the same thing? Some sites seem to have the same item with different names.

How can I confirm which is the issue?

thanks.

I removed and tested the heating element as well as the hi-limit thermostat #661566

Both tested fine for continuity.

I also tested the thermostat by placing it on a griddle.. when it heated up to about 240 degrees, the circuit opened so it seems to be working as well.

What else could be the problem?

thanks

Using a meter check from P6 (White/Red) on the control board to White/Violet on the door switch.
If you measure the heater resistance ( about 25 ohms) then odds are that it is a control board problem.
