When the dishwasher reaches the point in the cycle where it should be draining, are you able to hear the drain pump attempting to run, or is it completely silent?
Also, it would be a good idea to check the drain hose and all connection points along the hose to make sure there are no clogs or restrictions that could be preventing the water from draining properly.
