Dishwasher not draining

My dishwasher quit draining. I’ve checked the hose to the garbage disposal and it’s clean with no clogs. I also tried cleaning out the drain with vinegar and baking soda with no luck. I’m assuming the pump went out but I would like some advice on troubleshooting some more before I waist money on a part I may or may not need.

Does the drain pump run? Make noise? Hum? Do you have a cutting board that is missing a rubber foot? Pull the drain pump out and see if something is lodged inside the housing.
