My amana dishwasher is not cleaning anything on the top rack. There appears to be no water coming into the top. any help? This looks like a simple machine.

The quickest and easiest check is the water level. Remove the lower rack.Start the dishwasher and let it run for 3 to 5 minutes. Open the door slowly, and check the water level in the bottom of the tub. The water level should be touching the bottom of the heating element in the bottom, if the water level is correct. If you don’t hve enough water in the tub, it wont wash properly because the pump can’t produce enough pressure to move the water up to the upper spray arm. if thats the case, you’ll most likely need a new water inlet valve
