Dishwasher Motor/Pump Replacement

The dishwasher started to sound like a shop vac and that’s usually a bad sign.
Once I removed the motor/pump assembly I found the motor was fried.
So I’m going to order the whole motor/pump assembly as the pump was full of crud and it’s only $50 more.

Here’s the problem: Getting the old assembly out was a bit of a trick as the hole in the tub is almost the exact same size as the pump. There was much twisting involved and the side of the pump got scratched. What is the correct way to re-install this assembly into the tub?

Also: where can I find a service manual for this unit?

Thanks!

~Dave

We are working on the same job currently. Maybe we can help each other.

I am having a question as to how is the best way to remove the pump from the motor? Any clues?
