dishwasher makes a loud howling noise that progressively is getting louder. washer works fine but noise is getting worse.

Can you help guide me through how to access the motor? I have a similar problem - loud howling noise - disassembled everything I could from the inside and cleaned it all out, but still making almost a grinding noise, so I’m not sure what else to check out.

I’ve followed the steps of removal but can’t get the inlet protector removed… Help!!!
Disregard, got it. I ended up using a Paint can opener tool to snag under the edge near the screw and it finally popped up!
