The door of my Kitchen Aid dishwasher falls hard when opened. I tried to find a spring replacment, but I don’t believe that this model has a spring?? Do I need to replace the hinges? Model kuds02frss0

I received the spring do you have instructions on how to replace it?

You may need to partially uninstall the dishwasher to access the cables that hte spring attaches to, but everything’s located right up front. This breakdown may help. The spring and cable are parts 18 and 24.
