Dishwasher doesnt clean and arm doesnt turn

Dishwasher Arm does not turn and dishwasher does not clean. Dishwasher still makes noise as if its working.

The first couple things are

  1. Check to make sure unit is getting water. Most units fill to just below the heating element.
  2. Are the filter screens clean.

The unit is getting water, but it does not drain when its off.(although I don’t know if its supposed to). Also i cant figure out how to get to the filter screens or any of the pump and motor.
