Brand: GE Profile Advantium 120
Model Number: PSB1201NSS01
Main Symptom: The digital display shows incorrect and incomplete information.
What happens & when: 1. The clock lights up but is stuck on the time 4:04 and does not move forward. 2. When pushing the EXPRESS button, the oven turns on but the 30 second countdown display does not. The oven will go for 30-seconds and then turns off like it should. 3. When turning the dial, the display does not show any information regarding the dial.
I believe I may need to replace the Display Control Board. I have put it in my cart for purchase but thought I’d reach out for suggestions or recommendations before doing so.
UPDATE: After reading more posts, I thought I’d try to reset the microwave. I couldn’t find a plug in, so I toggled the breaker in the fuse panel. Now my display is working like it used to! I’m very happy! I understand it may work for awhile and then stop working again, but we’ll see.
Error Code (if any): none
Parts or tests already tried: Reboot/Reset the microwave. Toggled the breaker in the fuse box and it now works correctly.
